This indie comedy feature, directed by Chris Kublan, gave me the opportunity to reach back to my jazz background in crafting an upbeat yet poignant underscore. Equal parts Gene Krupa, Jon Brion, and Don Corleone… shake well. Starring Michael Rispoli, Annabella Sciorra, and Tony Sirico, it was awarded Best Narrative Feature and Best Cinematography at the 2014 Boston International Film Festival and Favorite Narrative Feature at the Napa Valley Film Festival.
